Meanwhile, as seasonal agricultural products like spring tea and fruits hit the market, courier companies are accelerating the adoption of new equipment and technologies. Smart devices such as robotic dogs, autonomous vehicles, and drones are being deployed directly to production areas for spring tea and fruits, further enhancing service quality and response efficiency while providing robust support for bringing farm goods to market.
Liu Jiang, Director of the Strategic Planning Research Department at the Development and Research Center of the State Post Bureau, stated that courier companies are accelerating the deployment of unmanned equipment across multiple regions to effectively address logistics gaps in rural and high-altitude areas. By integrating warehouse and distribution operations and sharing transport capacity, new technologies and business models create a synergistic advantage—ensuring overnight delivery with full-chain freshness for specialty agricultural products and paving the way for rural industrial revitalization.
